Diana’s introduction to the world of dance and ballet came unexpectedly when she was 8 years old!
Her mother was a music teacher in a country town and to fill in time while she waited to be taken home after school, Diana started ballet classes in the hall next to her mother’s piano teaching rooms!
From there she went on to study ballet as a full-time student in Adelaide for 3 years and qualified as an RAD teacher.
Following some years pursuing her dancing career, she then took up a position as a teacher for the S.A. Ballet Company and traveled to various country towns teaching dance to children and adults.
After some wonderful years in the film and television industry whilst based in Sydney, Diana went on to look after Torvill and Dean (UK Ice-dance gold medalists) and toured the world for many years. This exposed her to the international world of dance and dancers on an international stage.
Diana went on to tour with the legendary Rudolf Nureyev, The Bolshoi Ballet Company from Russia an the Royal Ballet Company from London.
With all of this knowledge she was destined to open her own school following the birth of her twins (Grace and Ned in 2004).
Dance4Kids is the coming together for Diana’s love of dance and young children.
